About

Hi, My Name Is Joseph Baker (Joey) I was born with Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) which is a congenital heart defect. I have dealt with this problem since birth.

In my early 20’s I developed another problem, known as atrial fibrillation or A-Fib as it is commonly known. Having spent most of my life in and out of Doctors offices and Hospitals I have a great deal of understanding and knowledge about heart disease in general.

I know how hard it can be to talk about your health problems, for this reason I have started this blog. To give people with heart problems and defects a place to gather facts, information and to tell your stories to like minded people. Who are going through some of the same situations as we are.

Hopefully we can all learn from each other, get some things off our minds and learn what works for some and not for others and why.

We all know that although doctors can work miracles these days the average visit with a doctor at best is about 15 minutes. It is my belief that together we can learn from each other better our lives and our health.

Here we can get it all out in the open with no time limits you can remain anonymous if you wish. Ask Questions get real answers from real people.
